Overview

The Journeyman is a post-apocalyptic survival drama told across two mediums: a 62-page TV pilot and an interactive game prototype. Set seven years after a global pandemic, the story follows three unlikely companions as they travel north along the desolate “Northern Line,” a migrant road rumored to lead to sanctuary. An exodus tale, the project blends grounded character drama with ambient survival design, emphasizing mood, environment, and slow-burn emotional storytelling. Currently, I'm building a second prototype in Unreal Engine, adapted from the 62-page teleplay pilot I completed in the spring (2025). The Shelter, built in Ren'Py, is a working prototype for the first chapter of The Journeyman, one of five chapters planned.

Experience

Screenwriting: Wrote the pilot episode, developed core character arcs, thematic direction, and the serialized structure.
Game Writing & Narrative Design: Adapted Chapter One into an interactive narrative; created branching dialogue, exploration flow, and choice-driven moments that reflect character and world.
Solo Development: Built a full Ren’Py demo with custom UI, scene logic, and progression systems. Currently developing a second prototype in Unreal Engine, with environment blockout, lighting, ambience, and Metahuman integration.
Art Direction: Defined the project’s visual and tonal identity, bleak landscapes, minimal UI, and grounded realism. Produced early character and environmental assets to support prototyping.
